The base of the plastic cups has an integrated magnet . To ensure the cups stay in place while you're traveling, they need to be combined with a metal counterpart . The set includes six metal nano-gel pads for this purpose. The force ratio between the magnetic cups and the metal nano-gel pads is perfectly balanced, so that the cups are held in place by the pads, but can also be easily removed from the pads for drinking. Thanks to smart nano-gel technology, the pads can be removed at any time without leaving any residue , cleaned with clean water , and reused as often as you like . This gives you maximum flexibility and allows you to use your magnetic cups wherever you need them, or store them securely and rattle-free in a cupboard.
